How You Benefit
DRN (Diagnostic Radiology Network) provides special pricing for diagnostic radiology procedures in most cities around the country. This discount program provides participants with substantial savings on radiology procedures including routine X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound's and mammograms.
Patients are scheduled at the nearest facility, usually within 15 to 20 minutes from work or home. STAT appointments are also available and all exams are scheduled within 48 hours of the referral unless otherwise directed through the authorizing entity.
Reports will be furnished within 24 hours of final dictation. Should a preliminary, STAT or urgent report be needed, a request will be honored. The facility will fax the report to the referring physician. DRN will fax the report to the adjuster and/or case manager, and you end up saving a bundle.
How to use the program
The DRN Radiology program is accessible by calling Member Services who will refer you to the Central Scheduling Department. Your DRN scheduling coordinator will manage all appointment details.
