Counseling (Not available to California Residents)

How You Benefit
As a member, you and your eligible family members are eligible to receive:

• Unlimited free telephone access to a participating ESSCO counselor 24 hours a day.
• The first three in-office counseling sessions, per family member, with a participating ESSCO counselor are $50 per session.

All charges for the fourth and subsequent in-office counseling sessions, with a participating ESSCO counselor, will be discounted 25% off the counselor's normal rates.

The counseling discounts are available only through ESSCO counselors and must be preauthorized. There are no discounts on psychiatric or inpatient services.

Your discounts for counseling services are provided by ESSCO, a national provider of counseling programs with a broad network of participating counselors who are licensed in the state where they practice.

How To Use Your Program

1. 1. Call the counseling program number in your membership kit and have your Member ID Number available.
2. You will be connected via telephone to an ESSCO case manager. Together you and the case manager will refer you to an ESSCO counselor nearest you.
3. If an in-office counseling session is desirable, the case manager will refer you to an ESSCO counselor nearest you.
4. Payment will be due at the time of your visit.
